A Challenge for Reforestation

The Team behind Ventura TRAVEL gets away from their desks today, uniting to join the charity event of the V Social Foundation. Together, Ventura TRAVEL Members join a challenge to walk 1 Million steps to raise awareness about the degradation of the Amazon Forest.

The Amazon is under threat from deforestation and mining. Together with the V Social Foundation and the Community Sinchi Warmi, we are planting native tree species to make a forest we protect more resilient.

Every tree helps bring back biodiversity, purify the air, and secure a future for both people and nature.

Every step counts. Together, our team is walking one million steps to raise awareness for the destruction and regeneration of the Amazon rainforest.

With your help, we will raise €2,300 to build a community-led tree nursery and grow 200 native trees in the Ecuadorian Amazon, the first of many forests to come back to life.

The tree nursery will be managed by Kichwa women from the Sinchi Warmi community, ensuring that the restoration is rooted in local knowledge, cultural continuity, and long-term stewardship.
