What is the project about?

The project supports three primary schools in the Quilotoa region: Julio Cabascango in Quilotoa, Fransisco Daquilema in Ponce and Ernesto Mora Ruiz in Siñacunga. The schools are simple buildings on one level and each house is a classroom with 100% indigenous population. The Julio Cabascango and Francisco Daquilema schools have received support from the state and other organizations to build new playgrounds or even classrooms and restore existing ones. The small school Ernesto Mora Ruiz exists only since a few years and is further away from the villages, making it more difficult to reach.

How is VSocial involved in the project?

VSocial contributes food for around 310 children. Additionally educational and sports implements. This project will be supported by the VSocial Foundation until December 2019.

What impact does the commitment have?

The foundation directly supports 310 boys and girls from schools and indirectly more than 100 families of Quilotoa who are part of the committees of parents of the schools.
