Global Connection Can Secure Our Forests

It's time to take meaningful action together.

Chitwan

What can I really do to make a difference in the distant Amazon? More than you think. Global connection holds the power to create change. We created Forest Guardians, as we believe in turning global solidarity into local impact. Encounters become action. Care becomes protection. Our community-led project connects you with Indigenous guardians and gives you the chance to stand with them protecting what's vital - for their children, and for all of us.

"Walking side by side with the Sinchi Warmis through the rainforest, I realized that supporting Indigenous wisdom and their frontline fight to protect the forest safeguards the future—not only for their children, but for all of us."

How this can work

We protect threatened rainforests by acquiring endangered land, designating it as protected, and transferring long-term stewardship back to the Indigenous communities who have safeguarded it for generations. This initiative is led by an alliance between Ventura TRAVEL, the non-profit V Social Foundation, and local Indigenous community partners. Together, we develop community-owned, community-led conservation forests.

In this model, travel becomes a driving force — generating the resources and international solidarity needed to turn this vision into reality. Grounded in local leadership and supported by science, the project delivers measurable impact for biodiversity and climate resilience.

Protect the Amazon with Those Who Call It Home

We can not protect the Amazon alone from a distance. We need Indigenous communities, the Amazon's strongest defenders. Hold their back to safeguard biodiversity for us all.
