Zapotal, a community that thrives for success!
What is the project about?
Zapotal is a small town of peasant people located in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The few people who remain in the community dedicate themselves to agricultural and dairy work, and now experiential tourism. Zapotal offers homestays for our travelers and lodging facilities plus a restaurant called Las Orguideas. The community offers traditional and cultural activities, cooking classes, and tours in the surrounding cloud forest.
